Jewellery Making Experience Days: Glass Charm Bead Jewellery Making Workshop in Warwickshire
Discover the art of bead-making in this creative 1.5-hour workshop, where you’ll design and craft your very own bespoke glass charm bead. Guided by expert instructors, you’ll explore bead design, learn about the qualities of different coloured glass, and then put your ideas into practice by creating a one-of-a-kind charm.
If you’re over 14, you can even get hands-on and help shape your bead with the use of a blowtorch. Once made, your charm bead will be carefully annealed in a kiln to harden and set before being posted to you on a beautiful tube bracelet of your choice.
Your experience begins with a warm welcome and an introduction to the design methods and techniques behind glass bead making. You’ll then spend around 30 minutes bringing your design to life before watching your bead come together in front of you—or even assisting in the process. Finally, you’ll select your bracelet from a range of coloured options, ready for your unique bead to be added once it’s complete.
This jewellery-making class is a fun, hands-on introduction to bead design and a wonderful way to create a personalised keepsake to treasure.
