After meeting your experienced instructors, you will be kitted out in wetsuits, helmets and buoyancy aids before heading into the gorge. From there, it’s all about getting stuck in — wading through rushing streams, scrambling over rocks, climbing natural features and sliding along smooth limestone shaped by the river’s flow.
You may even venture through atmospheric tunnels and tackle waterfall jumps if you are feeling brave. With a break for lunch before heading back out for more action in the afternoon, this is a full-on day of climbing, scrambling and splashing your way through the Welsh countryside.

Please note that bookings in May, June and July can be tricky due to higher numbers of large group bookings, so please give plenty of notice.

Sturdy footwear with a strong sole is essential.
You will need to bring a swimsuit/trunks to wear under the wetsuit, and a spare set of clothes to change into afterwards. Please bring your own towels.
Safety equipment such as helmets, wetsuits and buoyancy aids will be provided by the centre upon arrival.
Please ensure you bring lunch and drinks along with you, as these will not be provided by the centre.

This is an all-weather outdoor experience.
However, if severe weather conditions cause the experience to be deemed unsafe, you will simply be re-scheduled for an alternative date.
