Now you can delve deeper into this wonderfully diverse spirit during a hands-on tasting session held in either Winchester or Southampton. Guided by the school’s expert Gin Instructor, you will explore a curated line-up of gins, experiment with different mixers, and find the flavour duo that suits you best.
Your tasting adventure begins the moment you step into one of the cosy, welcoming venues. After a friendly introduction, your instructor will lead you through the fascinating history of gin—from its humble beginnings to today’s booming craft scene. You will get to know the botanicals that give each gin its signature character before moving on to the main event: the tasting.
Throughout the two-hour class, you’ll sample five premium gins and learn how to distinguish the nuances between styles such as London Dry and Plymouth.
