Your day begins at the academy at 9am sharp, where you’ll receive a safety briefing and an outline of the day’s activities. You’ll then head to your own dedicated workstation, complete with all the tools and equipment you’ll need. Under expert guidance, you’ll learn traditional blacksmithing techniques, shaping and forming metal to bring your ideas to life.
A delicious home-cooked lunch is available on-site for a small extra cost, or you’re welcome to bring along your own picnic to enjoy at the academy. By the time you finish around 2pm, you’ll have gained impressive new skills — and, of course, you’ll head home with your handcrafted pieces, ready to display proudly or gift as a truly one-of-a-kind present.

Equipment & Clothing
Loose fitting cotton material is preferred covering arms to protect from radiated heat and sparks.
Strictly no vests or short-sleeved tops where skin is exposed are advised.
No loose cuffs or torn clothing are to be worn, as these can act as a snagging hazard.
Shorts or skirts are also not permitted.
Leather aprons are provided.
