Sailing Experience Days: Spend an unforgettable day sailing around Edinburgh’s iconic bridges and islands with this full-day Edinburgh sailing experience.
This exhilarating excursion offers a unique way to explore the Fife coastline, gliding across the Firth of Forth and taking in famous landmarks and beautifully rugged islands along the way. It’s the perfect blend of adventure, sightseeing, and relaxation on the water.
Your day begins at Port Edgar Marina, where you will meet your experienced RYA Yachtmaster for a full safety briefing, an introduction to the catamaran, and a welcoming coffee before setting sail. Once underway, you will cruise beneath the legendary Forth Road and Rail Bridges, then sail around the islands of Inchcolm, Inchmickery, and Inchgarvie, before continuing on to Inchkeith.
Here, the boat will moor for lunch, giving you time to relax and enjoy the surroundings before the return journey to Port Edgar. Throughout the day, you are welcome to get hands-on with the sailing or simply sit back, soak up the views, and keep an eye out for porpoises, seals, and seabirds that frequent these waters.
