About the Experience
Chocolate Making Experience Days: Treat the whole family to a deliciously fun chocolate-making experience, available in Manchester, Birmingham, and Leeds! Under the guidance of an expert chocolatier, you will learn to create professional-quality truffles and take home your own edible masterpieces.
Your experience begins with a warm welcome from your chocolatier, followed by a brief introduction to the history of chocolate. Then it’s time to don your apron and start your 90-minute hands-on workshop, learning to craft truffles from scratch using Belgian dark chocolate. You’ll explore a variety of techniques—mixing, sculpting, rolling, cutting, dipping, and decorating—while filling your treats with cream (or plant-based alternatives) and coating them in cocoa, coconut, or leaving them classic. Once finished, your chocolates are hand-wrapped and ready to take home, with around 15–30 truffles per participant to enjoy…if you can resist eating them all at once!

Minimum Age: 8
All participants under 16 must be accompanied by a participating adult.
This experience is vegetarian and gluten-free.
Vegan/dairy-free workshops are also available. Please request this upon booking, and the cream will be replaced with plant-based cream.
