The Empress Hotel is located on Douglas' Victorian promenade overlooking the Irish Sea and is a short walk from the main sea terminal which ferries to and from the mainland. Reception staff will welcome you warmly upon arrival, where you will be shown to your seat in either the grand orangerie conservatory that runs the width of the hotel building itself, the snug piano bar or, if it happens to be a nice day for it, the multitude of tables and chairs that are out on the lawn that overlooks the beach.
