This is the ideal opportunity for beginners in gun sports. You will receive a comprehensive safety briefing to ensure you can handle the firearm with confidence, and learn the art of aiming and shooting with precision. Our qualified instructors will guide you in tracking clay pigeon targets, helping you judge speed and direction before it's your turn to take the shot.
Not to worry, you won't be alone in this adventure. Throughout the entire experience, our instructors will be by your side, providing valuable tips and support to help you progress. You'll have the chance to use an over-and-under, semi-automatic, or side-by-side shotgun, each offering unique advantages based on your shooting technique.
Each session lasts around 45 minutes, allowing ample time for practice. Join a small group for the 25 clay sessions and get ready to hit your targets. With seven stands and reliable Promatic traps, there's plenty of space and time for everyone to enjoy.

Learn the basics of shooting, how the gun works, how to hold the gun to avoid a bruised shoulder...and how to break clays!
You should allow around 1 hour on site for this activity
All equipment and safety gear is provided
25 clay lessons operate as part of a small group of up to 4 participants
A minimum age of 14 years old is required
Under 16s must be accompanies on site by an adult
Outdoor clothing is recommended
Sessions generally operate on Sundays throughout the year

However, felt the experience could have been enhanced by offering a free cup of coffee or tea, just to make people feel more relaxed while going through the safety procedures
I had 25 shots at the clay pigeons and was really surprised when the tutor had not made a count of how many clay pigeons I had shot. He said it was about 18. In an experience like this it is important for the customer to know how many clay pigeons that they have shot.
The experience should have been completed by having a paper certificate to say that you have taken part in a clay pigeon shoot at 3 counties Hampshire where you scored 18 put of 25 which is 72% success rate. Well done.
There was no certificate so that was quite disappointing. It would make a nice keepsake plus help to advertise Into The Blue and the Hampshire 3 counties clay pigeon shooting.
I hope you take these ideas on board if you want customers to have a fuller experience and make them either want them to come back again or at least highly recommend to their family or friends.
