Over the course of two indulgent hours, you will be guided by master chocolatiers who will share their passion for all things cocoa, from the fascinating history of chocolate to how it makes its journey from cacao tree to shop shelf. Of course, you will also have the chance to taste a variety of chocolates, learning how to tell the difference between the good, the bad and the utterly irresistible.
Once you’ve whetted your appetite, it is time to get hands-on. You will start by making and decorating your very own giant chocolate button before moving on to the main event – truffle making. Using rich dark ganache, glossy melted chocolate and an array of toppings such as cocoa powder, coconut, strawberry curls and white chocolate shavings, you will craft a delicious selection of handmade truffles. Depending on how generous you are with the size, you could make up to twenty chocolates, all of which you can take home beautifully packaged in ribboned bags. Perfect for sharing with friends and family, or for keeping as your own personal chocolate stash.
