Tim planted his first vines here in 2009, just outside Gawcott village, starting with robust varieties like Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier, later adding the more delicate Madeleine Angevine and Bacchus —all thriving in Buckinghamshire’s diverse soil. On your guided tour, you’ll stroll through the vineyards, learning about the challenges and triumphs of the Chafor family’s winemaking journey— and trust us, it’s quite the story. Then, you’ll sample a selection of three wines, savoring the estate’s craftsmanship. Tours and tasting run on spring-to-autumn afternoons, with extra evening dates in the summer. It’s the perfect way to spend a few relaxed hours in beautiful Buckinghamshire!

  • Participants should arrive 15 minutes before your tour is due to begin 
  • Meet in the wine garden area where you will be greeted by the founder and wine maker, Tim, who will be your tour guide.
  • Appropriate footwear for a short walk to the winery should be worn
  • Unfortunately, spectators are not permitted
