Spend a day with her at her cottage near Birmingham and she'll show you just how it's all done. You'll be given a six-inch, four-layer cake to work with, and before the decorating begins, you'll learn how to prepare the cake by splitting the layers, adding in conserve, and using buttercream to make sure it all stays together. Then comes the tricky part - covering the cake with sugar paste. But don't worry, Jane will show you the foolproof technique to get this perfect, ready for decorating.   • Learn the basics techniques of covering and decorating a six-inch, four-layer cake
  • Welcome and introduction to your course
  • Your cake will be baked and provided by Tara House Bakery
