Calling all meat lovers who fancy mastering some new kitchen skills! This Butchery and Charcuterie course in Berkshire is bursting at the seams with essential kitchen skills you can use for life. Working with the master butcher, you'll learn how to butcher an entire venison or hogget and how to make cuts such as loin, chops and racks whilst mastering some new knife skills that will set you up to butcher for life. But this is not the only skill you’ll be learning in this four hour session. Alongside skilled charcutiers you’ll learn all about using dry rubs, marinades and preparing cuts of meat for frying and roasting. Creating your own charcuterie from venison or hogget makes for the most delicious bresaola or salami and you’ll be walked through the entire process. In a few weeks time, you'll then have the nice surprise of receiving your creations in the post after they have been dried and cured. Swinging those knives about and all the physical effort required to slice through joints of meat will undeniably work up an appetite. For lunch, you’ll get to sample some of the charcuterie meats produced on site at Bray Cured. At the end of the 4 hours you’ll walk away feeling more confident in the kitchen with an array of butchery skills under your belt combined with knowledge about how to make your meat tantalizingly tasty!
