On a daylong blacksmith adventure in Cumbria, start forging with a friend or a loved one. Learn everything there is to know about a blacksmith's job by visiting Richard at his forge in the Cumbrian countryside. You will create your very own forged object to take home throughout the course of this entire day. The metal is being worked in the same manner as it has been for thousands of years; this is the greatest example of traditional artisan craftsmanship. Richard has been pursuing his love for blacksmithing and earning a career from metal work since 2009. He is now sharing his knowledge with pupils who visit his specially designed training forge.
