It boasts some of the most spectacular views across the Shropshire countryside, the Clee Hills and Ludlow Castle, and it has now become one of the county's most reputed hotel and spa resorts, with an on-site restaurant that has an expert team of chefs that has seen it be awarded Michelin listing, the AA Inspectors' Choice 3 Stars, and the AA Rosette award for culinary excellence. But this impressive mantelpiece of gongs alone doesn't do justice to just how good their afternoon tea really is. There's the platter of delicious open sandwiches, with fillings such as beef and horseradish, smoked salmon and cream cheese, and even the classic tuna mayonnaise all accounted for.
