As an aircraft enthisuast booked a 1 hr flight experience over the Kent countryside, communication and care 1st class with scheduled date deferred due to weather conditions, every precaution taken.

I flew in Abingdon. The joining contact and instructions with Rachel were very clear. The instructor Hal was really friendly and was a totally relaxed. The flight was an amazing experience and Hal was really happy to fly where I wanted to see, We managed to fly over my house with plenty of time for pictures.

This Flight was a great experience with an excellent Pilot called Nick who owns the flying school in Welshpool. He went over the safety checks and explained the controls to me then we were up and away heading towards Lake Vyrnwy . When we reached a height of approximately 1800 feet I was allowed to control the aircraft with Nick guiding me. I was not over confident and as we came into a couple of clouds and showers I was happy for Nick to take over again. It was great to see the lake and he then changed course to Llangollen which was wonderful to see from the air basked in sunshine with an amazing aquaduct and a viaduct.
From there we headed towards Wrexham as I continued taking pictures and videos and Nick pointed out various landmarks and geographical features as and when they came into view. Then we skirted along the edge of the Shropshire Plains and plotted a course back to Welshpool at which point I felt confident to take the controls again and get a "feel" for the microlight. Nick took over to plan the descent as we approached Welshpool Airfield and we flew over Powys Castle before we circled around the Airfield and descended gently for the Runway Approach with Nick explaining to me through the headset exactly what was happening as he brought the plane down expertly. Thank you Nick for sharing your knowledge in a calm and enjoyable way.
Fantastic place to learn to fly. After a route brief and introduction to the aircraft, your hands are on the controls from takeoff to landing. Awesome. Easy booking process.
I arrived in plenty of time for my 3pm slot but had to wait an hour before we got off the ground. Not good if you’re nervous to start with. Despite that, and after I got the initial nervous screams out of the way, it was a great experience.
Truly fantastic experience. I actually flew the plane for about 90% of the time! Would highly recommend the experience and Into the blue! The pilot, Russ, was great too, explained lots of things and made the flight even more enjoyable!

My experience involved a flying a 2 passenger light aircraft.
The flight instructor I was assigned was a guy called Matt, who had plenty of flying experience of commercial aircraft, but flies small aircraft and teaches as a hobby.
After some initial prep and checks, we quickly took off and flew up to 2000ft, where I was handed the controls. I was surprised at how responsive the controls were! When not in control, I enjoyed the sights and asked Matt many questions about flying in general and his questions from his vast experience flying commercial aircrafts.
Overall a worthwhile experience. I would recommend it to anyone! :)

The experience was excellent. Chris, the pilot, was friendly and welcoming and he was very good company throughout the one hour flight, giving me the controls for most of the time. To see the local area from the air was fascinating.
I would recommend this to all , young or old, male or female.
The experience was fantastic , 60 minutes flying time (a gift from my wife), the plane was in my control other than take-off and landing.
Believe me when I say that it is a different world up there and the views are to die for ( not literally).

This was an amazing experience. Booking my flight lesson locally was really easy and professionally done. On the day and at the pre arranged appointment I met my instructor. He was knowledgeable and friendly, putting me at ease straight away. I had an excellent introduction to the aircraft, and when ready the instructor allowed me to partly taxi the aircraft to the runway. Shortly after take-off the instructor allowed me control of the aircraft. He explained everything in-flight and even pointed out land marks below. I carried out several basic manoeuvers during flight, and actually flew the aircraft for about one hour.
A rewarding day and good value.

My trial flight lesson took place at Beverley Airfield. Everybody there were very friendly and efficient. The instructor was patient and informative and allowed me to take the controls. It was a very good experience and I would have no hesitation recommending it to anyone.

I bought the experience for my 15 year old son who is mad on planes and is thinking of starting a career as a pilot. He thoroughly enjoyed the experience and to say this was his first time up in a plane he understood all that was asked of him to fly the plane himself. It has given him the confidence to go for a career as a pilot. Praise to everyone at the Doncaster flying school they made us feel welcome and relaxed.

Although the flight was cancelled a few times due to the weather it was easy to rearrange and everyone I spoke to were very helpful. The day was amazing, my tutor Joel was waiting when we arrived and made me feel very relaxed. We made the most of the hour so I felt I had full value for money. One of the best days of my life and I would do it every day if I could!
Eaglescott Airfield is ideally placed for a stunning experience. In the heart of the Devon countryside, and yet within just a few minutes of takeoff we were approaching the craggy north devon coastline. Wales in the distance, Lundy on the horizon, and the rolling hills all around. Barry (instructor) had me fling the plane almost the whole time, including lining up on the airstrip to land. Informative, educational and of course a real buzz. Top marks for a fantastic all round experience.
What a great experience, didn't expect to get so much time actually flying the plane. The instructor and the staff at the airfield at Beverley were brilliant. Can't think of any negative points except that the hour passed too quickly.

Really incredible experience of going up in a motorised glider at Long Marston Airfield near Stratford-upon-Avon. Lee is a brilliant pilot and made everything look so easy. We managed a bit of gliding and the motor was used to take off and circle around so it was a very full one hour experience. Highly recommend. My 14 year old son had a go and loved it.
My trial flight at Bicester was excellent from initial booking, e-mails reminders, flight briefing online to the actual day.

Ordering the vouchers from Into the Blue was easy and they arrived the next day. Booking the flight was simple via e-mail and they fitted me in when I wanted with no problems. it was a wonderful day being my 70th birthday as well, on the pre flight brief paul higgs my pilate/captain asked about my previous experience on flying, I had one previous flight at baggington a few years before,and im also a flight simulater pilate on cessnas.
in short I took the plane off flew it to silverstone and back,the only time paul took back control,was to land back at baggington,a most wonderfull day thank you,and thanks to paul
The first lesson flight was everything I expected and beyond. Everything on the day went smoothly and the instructor, Hugh, ensured I was comfortable during the whole experience even when taking the controls.
I had a proper flying lesson which is more than I really expected. A very enjoyable experience.
friendly staff at the airstrip
It was a very small friendly set-up. They seemed to just have two small planes / instructors and it was a very personal experience. The instructor took me through the basic workings of the aircraft and then we hit the runway. Soon after take off I was given control of the plane, the instructor made me feel very comfortable and I soon relaxed into it. Visibility was excellent and I flew out over the Isle of Wight, around the Needles and back over the top of Portsmouth Harbour. Amazing views! I was surprised by the length of time I was given control of the plane (virtually the whole time, apart from take-off and landing). I don't know what other flying clubs are like, but I would definitely recommend Solent Flights. The location is brilliant with the interesting coastline nearby and the friendly / professional service.
Simon, the instructor was excellent. The airfield was small but the staff were extremely friendly.
Almost all of the lesson was hands on, we flew over the Isle of Wight and could see a regatta below what an experience!
I am keen to have another lesson from this airfield.

We were in the air for one hour,our flight took us over Portsmouth, Lymington,over the needles and south of the Isle of White before turning north across the IoW to head back to the airstrip. The team were helpful with booking and kept us informed of the event which was weather dependent. The flight was easy with requests to fly over favourite spots easily met. I could take as much supervised control of the plane as I liked with loads of interesting information. I could recommend the flying experience 100%.

Apart from minor difficulties finding the telephone number of the airfield, the system worked very well and the guys at the airfield were brilliant. Calm, experienced, knowledgeable and listening. The flight was lovely and I was allowed to do everything I wanted apart from take off, land and dive-bomb things. Next time :-)
I can't recommend this Flying Club enough. They were brilliant, the instructor was fantastic, everyone was so friendly. A brilliant experience and the only down side is that I now have the flying bug and can't wait to go back again!
Great experience. Lovely little airfield, with good facilities. One hour flying lesson bought as a present for me, as I want to be a commercial airline pilot. Stuart (I think), my instructor, was excellent. Flight out over Portsmouth, the Solent and IoW was fantastic and had hands-on experience. Loved it.
The instructors were very friendly from the start of my experience I think because this was a small private airfield and the planes were smaller 2 seaters this allowed the participant to get to grips with what was going on quickly.
To instructor I had was very clear and concise with his instructions and I was flying the plane within a very short time after take off.

Great experience at Lower Upham airfield. Theo was an excellent instructor, and made it extra special by accommodating a fly-by the approach at Southamton Airport. The ability to take control of the aircraft and fly myself was an amazing opportunity, and one I hope to do again in the future.
Very easy to book, friendly staff on the day, very accommodating. My other half enjoyed his flying lesson and was planning on taking some pics, but was encouraged to fly most of the journey, so didnt!

We purchased a 1 hour flying lesson for my son. It was down in Southampton and was amazing...he really enjoyed it and the staff down there were fantastic. Nicest people we have ever met. We would like to thank them - brilliant.
The package I purchased was an hours flying lesson for my Father's sixtieth birthday, he had a fantastic day! We went to Bodmin airfield for the flight, they were very accommodating. During the flight he managed to fly over his own house! My Dad has asked if he can have one for each birthday from now on!!

Scone airfield is an hour away from where we live. Perfectly placed. Truly, an amazing experience. Everyone was so friendly and I had my hands on the controls for 45 minutes as we cruised around Perthshire at 2,500 feet. A great gift from the family for my 80th birthday.

Did the 1 hr flight experience which was excellent and would well recommend. My flight instructor Max was very professional and made me feel at ease, We flew over Blackpool along the coast before returning to the airport. I even has control of the plane for a short while.
Really good experience, my pilot Dave was great, talked me through all the checks as we were the first flight of the day, our flight was god, the weather helped as it was pretty clear - pointed out local spots and highlights
My 15 year old son had a great time. Instructor was very good with him, very informative and made him feel at ease. Great starter for someone who’s interested in flying.
I had a wonderful time flying. It was my first time and it wont be the last. I had the 1 hour experience which i highly recommend as it still did not feel long enough.

I brought this for my husbands birthday he had a fabulous time and said he would love to do it again.
I had a great time today at Perth Airport doing my 60 minute experienc. Kevin, Elaine and my instructor, Adam, were fantastic and welcoming. The flight itself was outstanding and Adam was so patient throughout, teaching me the controls and some manoeuvres. I'm genuinely considering flying again and would recommend this experience to anyone interested.

Very good value for money I thought, for the time and fun had.
The Into The Blue site was a bit complicated, in that I had to look up every possible flying school separately and look them up on the map and then contact myself via email - it would be better if this was more user friendly.

Converting my Voucher was simplicity itself.
The actual flight surpassed my expectations. My instructor gave me the controls as soon as we had reached a safe height and then made me do all manner of manoeuvres, stating that I needed to get the feel of the controls. It was the most amazing fun.
As soon as I can I intend to go again (and again!)

We bought a 60-minute flight for our son's 40th. The whole experience was fabulous. The pilot was so lovely and answered all our questions. We were able to take loads of pictures to remember the day. There is a cafe there that you can go to while our son had his flight. A good selection for everybody's taste. When my son came back he was buzzing with the whole experience, Thanks to Into the Blue for making our day perfect

Originally bought as a 75th Birthday Present from family members in the form of a 60-minute flight in a Chipmunk from Blackpool Airport. Unfortunately, our first attempt was called off due to imminent showers. Subsequently the aircraft in question became unavailable due to long-term maintenance until some time in 2025.
Options were to wait or transfer to another experience.
After some consideration, I opted for a flight in a Cessna 150 with another flight school. The instructor was great and having realised I had a lot of gliding experience in the past, let me fly the whole flight apart from just before the landing. As this experience was roughly half the price of the Chipmunk flight, I was able to repeat the process a few months later, again doing virtually all the flying. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
