After serving as an RAF base, we've been catering to the needs of civil aviation since 1961 with the arrival of the first Sheffield aero club. At Netherthorpe, our pilots are fully CAA accredited and have extensive flying experience. Your flying lesson will start with a ground briefing to familiarize you with the basic controls of the aircraft and explain how your experience will unfold. From the moment you take off, you'll have the opportunity to take control of the plane yourself. Our two-seater light sports aircraft is perfect for the ultimate flying experience.
