Our setup strikes the perfect balance - not too crowded for beginners and not too small for seasoned shooters. The charming clubhouse adds to the experience, allowing your friends and family to capture your memorable shots on camera.
After a safety briefing and an introduction to shooting etiquette, you'll be all set to take aim at the targets. The clays mirror the ones found in the surrounding fields, offering a variety of angles, distances, and speeds for an exciting shooting experience.

A welcome, introduction and safety briefing with a complimentary tea or coffee
Tuition on safe handling and learning how to use the shotgun
Coaching from the professional shooting instructors to shoot various sporting targets
All the necessary equipment hire, clays and cartridges are included
There is a minimum age of 10 years old to take part
Please note that all under 16's must be accompanied by an adult
No previous shooting experience is required
Sturdy shoes, comfortable outdoor clothing, sunglasses and a waterproof jacket are recommended
Clay shooting experiences are available from Tuesday to Saturday throughout the year
Minimum Age: 12 years
Spectators are very welcome to watch the action from the viewing areas within the grounds and may take photographs

There is a cabin onsite serving tea/coffee and selection of hot and cold food to purchase such as Bacon sandwiches, Casseroles and Afternoon tea and cakes

Never used a shotgun before, and didn’t know what to expect.
Only had 25 shots and clays, and it went pretty quickly.
Had a brilliant chap called Richard, who was my tutor, who new his stuff, and put me at ease. Enjoyed my visit, and I hope to go again in the future.

My wife bought me a 50 shot clay lesson for Christmas, which I used during August 2015. A perfect blue sky and the hottest day of the year accompanied my midday lesson. Kevin, the instructor, was absolutely first class and the 50 shots 'flew' by. Somehow, on my first lesson, I managed to hit 45 /50 (although some were just winged a bit) - testament to the excellent Kevin's tuition. Would definitely recommend this experience but to make it even better go as a small group to stretch the time out and add some competition. I loved it!

My Son and I went for a clay pigeon shoot last week. I was really impressed with the whole experience. The tutors were excellent and delivered the tuition very well, making it extremely easy to improve throughout the shoot. I would (and will) definitely return for another go.
