Rockingham Motor Speedway is the UK's first purpose-built banked oval circuit since Brooklands, officially opening in summer 2001. The circuit has permanent seating for 7,500 in the Rockingham Building, with additional seating for another 20,000. According to circuit officials a view of around 85% of the track from any position should be possible. With 36 pit garages in place, the teams should also be well catered for.
