Bovingdon Airfield is disused in regards to air traffic, but is often used for shooting major TV shows and films, and it is currently the location for Supercar, Drifting and Famous Movie Car Driving Events. Drifting Open Days are a special drift track day, for you to take your own car for a day of Drifting around the figure of eight circuit. Suitable for beginners and experienced drifters, this high rev, high octane event provides a rare opportunity to drift your car in a safe environment. The track is kept wet at all times to reduce tyre squealing.

Beginners will start in the 'Korma Lane', which has more run off, allowing you to build your confidence. The more experienced drivers can enjoy the 'Vindaloo Lane' which has a high speed third gear entry into a second gear decel zone with the option to test your proximity and accuracy against the wall. The line then follows into the 'Zen Garden' roundabout and past the sheltered spectator area – plenty of eyes will be on you, can you pull off a hero slide?
