Andalucia circuit is situated in the South of Spain, located in the Tabernas area. It benefits from more hours of sunshine and less annual rainfall than most other Spanish regions. The track is roughly 4.3 kilometres in length and has a 700 meters straight. The circuit was designed by the 2014 Moto2 world champion and ex MotoGP rider Tito Rabat. It has a total of 17 corners and some very fast and as technical areas. Due to the high temperatures, the venue is a popular destination for car and motorbike track day goers. The circuit is located next to the Almeria circuit, however, these circuits are two different tracks with the use of independent pit lanes and paddocks.
The Andalucia Circuit is just 35 minutes from Almeria International Airport and a little less than 30 minutes from Almeria town. The circuit has a total of 17 corners, 6 left-handers and 11 right. The max track width is 12 meters making for ample room for overtaking. There are 16 pit garages and an onsite hospital.
