Spend a relaxing day on a Paddle Boarding Trip down the River Wye in Herefordshire. Setting off from Kerne Bridge near Ross-on-Wye you will paddle down the river passing through this area of outstanding natural beauty, home to all sorts of wildlife like salmon, rare birds and more! Your day trip will be guided by British Canoe Union instructors that will help you navigate the water. At the middle of the day you will stop off on the riverside to have a picnic. The trip is suitable for those who have some experience or more due to the length of the trip. The day will be filled with beautiful views, relaxing paddling and hopefully some sunny weather.

You will need to bring:

  • A packed lunch for you picnic by the river
  • Footwear such as old trainers, sandals or beach shoes
  • Sun screen and a sun hat
  • A towel
  • A change of clothes & shoes
  • Shower and changing facilities are available

Minimum Age: 16 years

  • Selected weekend dates from May to September
  • Meeting time is usually 10:30am with a finish time of 4:30 / 5:00pm

  • Not suitable for complete beginners as it is a long day paddling
