What is a track day?

Since its launch in 2004, TrackDays has been providing track enthusiasts and race licence holders with the most comprehensive end-to-end booking service, as well as the most complete list of track and test day events from across the UK and Europe.

We work with a huge number of track day suppliers, both large and small, to provide a central online calendar of car and bike track events and test days at race tracks like Brands Hatch, Snetterton, Silverstone, Castle Combe, Thruxton and more.

So what makes TrackDays unique? It's the simple fact that our team handle your booking from start to finish. Meaning the only job you have is to turn up to your event and have a blast. Whether you're getting your knee down or hitting high speeds in your track car, we believe that's the only thing you should be focused on when you're picking a track on a date that suits you.

If you're wondering "Are there track days near me?", select from our Car Track Days or Bike Track Days from the options above, and use the filter to show dates at circuits in your specified region. You can also filter by formats like open pitlane or groups, as well as by circuit, date and price.

It doesn't matter if you're riding a 1000cc BMW HP4 Race or something a little slower, or if you're driving a classic Aston Martin, an Audi R8 or a race track car. It's all about having a great track experience.

Book a Race Tuition training day and learn from qualified instructors, perfect for novices looking for guidance, or track veterans who want to brush up after a period off the tarmac that can act as vital preparation for

You can stay up to date with our bike and car track days by joining the calendar club. You'll receive weekly emails with the latest availability from track around the UK, as well as a monthly email with the latest European events. Simply scroll to the bottom of the page, enter your email address and hit Subscribe.

As well as track and test days, TrackDays also offer a huge range of Driving Experiences in the latest Supercars like the Ferrari 458 Italia, Lamborghini Gallardo McLaren 570S, F1 style Single Seater Racing Car Experiences and Drifting Experiences amongst many others.

Book a Track Day

Booking a track day is simple but there are some important things to consider first. The most important thing is that you as the driver and your vehicle are eligible for the event you are about to book. When you click into an event you will three tabs which all contain the essential information specific to that event. Always make sure you read this before going ahead. You will need to check that your licence is valid, your vehicle will be within the noise limit and that you have the right safety equipment and clothing.

If you happy that you are eligible for the event then to book you simply enter your name and vehicle information into the form, then add an extras such as garage hire, tuition etc that you want. If you are booking in more than one vehicle then the book another button will put your first track day into the cart and reload the form to add a second.

Once you have everything you want in your basket then you can check out securely using a debit/credit card or using your PayPal account. You can sign up for free to be a Trackdays Member where you will then be able to customise the calendars to suit your needs. You may for instance only ever want to see Silverstone events for bikes or Brands Hatch evens for car which can all be done by adjusting your profile settings. Once you are a member you can also benefit from super fast checkout as all your bookings forms and information will be pre-filled.

When can i go on a Track Day?

The peak season for trackdays is between April and September when the weather has a better chance of being ideal. Events do run all year round but are less frequent than in the Spring and Summer. One benefit of booking outside of the peak season is that the events are much cheaper and quieter so if you are lucky enough to get a nice sunny day then you can get fantastic session of track time for a very cheap price. As anyone living in the UK will know, the Summer months do not always guarantee sunshine but most events will go ahead in the rain as long as there are no areas of the circuit that are flooded. Drivers and riders have a much better chance of sunshine if you book a European event in countries such as Spain or Portugal - you do of course need the budget and the time off!
