ultimate in thrill on the water with the 450HP Jet Viper featuring a Hamilton
Jet Drive that can our manoeuvre any other craft on the water. You will also
learn fundamental skills in the Honda BF150 Racing Boat from the largest
powerboat racing series in the world. You will then go on an offshore circuit to
compete in the ‘Honda 150 Challenge’.
The Jet Viper
You board the Jet Viper and sit on comfortable ?Jockey?
Style seats. Then after a short ride along the river you will hit Southampton
Water where the Skipper will demonstrate the ultimate in thrill on the water
including; donuts, crash stops, slides and spins ? impossible in any other
powerboat.
The Honda BF150 Race boats
The boats are set up for racing and have a high
performance Honda 2.4L VTEC engine and racing seats. They are really easy to throw
around and like to be driven ?on edge?. Each Honda 150 boat has identical power
and weight. The craft are checked prior to your event to ensure they will
achieve the same lap times (yes we have a Stig!).
BF150 Powerboat Challenge
This is on an offset rectangular circuit and each person
gets 3 laps. On the first they get used to setting up the boat for the corner
and then smoothly executing a turn. On the second and third laps we time each
person. You may be surprised who wins the event! Everyone can put in good times
as they are encouraged by other team members in the boat.
This course has been extended an hour to be 3 hours in total on the water. You will need to allow an extra hour to be at the centre.
This course is designed for groups to book directly onto a date. If you do buy as a voucher it will be valid for 10 months
You must be over 16 years old, at least 5' tall and weigh no more than 17 stone to take part. This is for group bookings only. Minimum group of 10. Please note our experiences are not suitable for those with back, neck or heart complaints or for pregnant women. Please wear jeans or shorts and training or boat shoes. Please also bring a change of clothes - just in case. We welcome the
participation of disabled people on our craft.
Southampton Water is open from May to October
We will organise a full prize giving in which we will have awards for the Winner and runner up. This is also a good time for photos, speeches or a thank you.
Weather will of course be a factor. If the weather is unsuitable then the event will be re-arranged for an alternative date
