Overview
Why buy from us?
Imagine witnessing the world-famous standing stones of Stonehenge from the air on an exclusive Stonehenge Helicopter Tour! As one of the most renowned neolithic stone circles, Stonehenge is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with access to the stones limited. However, through this helicopter tour, you can experience breathtaking close-up views that are simply unmissable. Departing from Thruxton Aerodrome near Andover, the tour takes you over the border into Wiltshire, offering a direct flight over Salisbury and towards Stonehenge itself. From the air, you'll catch a glimpse of 'The Avenue,' an ancient path connecting the site with the River Avon, and even spot Bluestonehenge, discovered in 2009. As you approach the iconic Stonehenge, take a moment to absorb the fact that parts of the circle date back to 3100 BC, and ponder the mystery surrounding the purpose of the stones. With uninterrupted views from the helicopter, you'll capture the scale and form of these remarkable rock pillars with unparalleled clarity. We are thrilled to offer a 15-minute Stonehenge helicopter tour, with an extended option of flying over the North Wessex Downs or Cranborne Chase. Soar over protected chalk plateaus, setting the stage for the main event. Secure your seat in the chopper now for a once-in-a-lifetime bird's eye view of Stonehenge!
