What can you anticipate from a day spent on a Segway? First and foremost, a warm welcome at the Events Pod, followed by a comprehensive safety briefing and initiation session. In a dedicated area, you'll be guided on how to ride your own Segway using the handlebar controls. With the 'Leansteer' method, you'll discover that Segways are not only fun but also safe, as they are highly manoeuvrable and can spin around on the spot.
All experiences use the x2 Segway, a rugged and robust model designed for off-roading. Helmets, knee, and elbow pads are provided on the day for each Segway pilot, ensuring your safety and comfort.
Once everyone is comfortable, your Segway adventure will begin. Depending on your chosen location, you could be gliding along the grounds of majestic country houses, traversing the undulating hills of the countryside, exploring dense forest trails, or circling serene lakes. There are also unique locations to discover, such as the Segway tour in Kent, which takes you around a Site of Special Scientific Interest at Mote Park, or the Edinburgh tour, where you'll navigate the paths around the national treasure, Newhailes Estate.
