This pool based PADI Discover Scuba Diving session in Essex is a great way to learn the basics of this fantastic sport. You can experience the sensation of weightlessness and the excitement of breathing underwater under the close supervision of an expert instructor. The session will take place in a heated pool and last for just under two hours - consisting of a briefing on theory & gear you'll be using, and approximately 1 hour in the pool scuba diving with your instructor.
The sessions take place in heated pools in Hornchurch or Loughton and lasts for just under two hours. During the session you will have a short briefing introducing the basic principles of scuba diving safety, then spend approximately 1 hour in the pool scuba diving with your instructor. You will start in the shallow end then progress to the deeper end as your confidence increases. All you will need is a swimming costume and towel - all the scuba gear is provided for you.
You will have a 30 min briefing, then move to the pool - total time spent in the water will be 60 minutes approx.
Your voucher is valid for ten months for one person.
Participants must sign a medical declaration prior to taking part. You must be able to swim to take part but no previous scuba experience is necessary. The experience is for anyone over 10 years of age. All you will need is a swimming costume and towel - all the scuba gear is provided for you. All dates are subject to availability.
The experience operates Tuesday evenings, Saturday afternoons and Sunday evenings.
