Upon arrival you are greeted by one of the friendly staff members at Twinwood’s who will ask you to fill out a brief health questionnaire and then take you through to the salt-caves. You will then be given a hair net and shoe covers to slip on and then it’s time enter the cave. Relax and unwind in one Twinwood’s treatment rooms within the cave. Throughout your one hour session you will inhale the dry, salt-enriched air, deep down into the lungs where the healing benefits do their greatest work. The family salt cave has a TV, plenty of toys for children to play with and a travel cot for the little ones to sleep. Children will find it all very exciting to play in a cave made of salt, with the bonus of not even realising that they are having a treatment. The salt will loosen any mucus, which will begin to clear quickly, reduce any inflammation, which will make more room in the airways for you to breathe. Symptoms will subside, sometimes for up to 12 months
