New for you this year, we bring you a very special addition to our OEM+ range. we experienced demand for a front wheel drive sports car in our fleet, and is there a better car than this for your driving experience? This car has clocked 0 - 60 mph in 5.8 seconds, and is capable of around 150 mph.
The car is as it would have left the factory, however, with our own flavour of modifications, it is perfect for on track driver training, and is guaranteed to deliver smiles throughout the day.
A high spec car, the Renaultsport Clio Trophy 220 includes an RS monitor for live data logging and data capture, an upgraded front mounted inter-cooler, for more reliable turbo performance on circuit, an upgraded air intake for higher peak power and upgraded track spec brakes and tyres, together with an effortless dual clutch paddle shift system or automatic shifting depending on your own preference.
You will meet your race team leader in the pits of your preferred circuit. Our price of £1295 includes VAT, fully comprehensive insurance, first tank of fuel, mechanical support throughout the day, delivery to our home circuits (all circuits available for additional delivery fees), helmet and kit hire, refreshments etc. Arrive in the comfort of your own car, drive a dedicated high spec track car and return home in comfort.
On a standard Open Pitlane event the itinerary will be:
Arrive at the track for sign in, noise test and briefing
Meet instructor/car for side briefing
Siting laps on track (with the instructor as a passenger)
The track opens for driving
Around midday, the track closes for 1 hour
Driving opens again in the afternoon up until 5 pm or dusk.
Note for an evening event there is no break and track time is usually 2 - 3 hours. The car is only suitable for track days where the noise limit is above 93db or above. Delivery charges payable to the delivery driver will apply depending on the circuit. See 'on the day extras' for details.
Full track days are usually from 9 - 5 with an arrival time of 8am. Evening track days are usually from 5pm until dusk with an arrival time of 4pm.
You can order this as a voucher or buy in conjunction with any suitable track day on our calendar. If you wish to hire the car for an event not on our calendar a 5% surcharge will be added. 3rd/4th drivers - £100 per person. Some circuits have an additional delivery charge. Height/weight restrictions: Some cars will be restrictive for some people. If you are unsure we can advise prior to your event booking. If you are unable to safely drive the car due to height or weight restrictions impacting on health and safety, an alternative car will be recommended. The hire is for the duration of the track day and is for use on the track only. The price includes the car hire only and not the track day. For last-minute bookings (where date is 3 days away or less) there may be a £100 service charge subject to conditions. When booking a date for car hire please ensure you book the corresponding track day at the same time to ensure you have a space. All drivers must give details for insurance purposes to drive the car on track. Track car provider will arrange for your insurance quote. Your insurance quote may vary and we reserve the right to refuse use or require additional payment for increased insurance premiums based on your details. Use of the car is subject to a credit card pre-authorisation as a security deposit. No money will be debited from your credit card and is for pre-authorisation only. A full UK or European licence, minimum age of 18. There is a fair use policy and the mechanical support on the day reserves the right to suspend usage of the car at their own discretion with no refund. Drivers believed to be under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs will be refused to drive without refund. Dangerous and irresponsible driving is not tolerated and will result in termination of your car hire. The car is for hire on any UK track day where the noise limit is above 93db (subject to availability).
Extra fuel if required can be purchased on the day but usually 1 tank is enough for fair usage. Most Circuits have a cafeteria or restaurant where you can buy lunch.
All track days are weather dependent for safety reasons. If the whole event is cancelled by the track day organiser or circuit marshal the hire can be transferred to another date but the delivery fee is non refundable (minimum £60).
