The award-winning Sedlescombe vineyard is the largest and oldest organic vineyard in the UK. This long established, family run business welcomes you to join them on a tour around their 22 acres of vines. This is your chance to admire the work of one of the UK’s true-eco-pioneers. Roy Cook, is often heralded as the grandfather of organic grape vine cultivation, after planting his first vine back in 1979. And in 2010, Sedlescombe became the first vineyard to release "Biodynamic" English wine, an organic method of production that incorporates lunar rhythms into the grape growing process.

Your lunch will include freshly baked artisan bread, cheddar cheese, pickled onions, chutney and fresh green salad. Also included within your day is a wine tasting experience, where you can enjoy tasting up to four of Sedlescombe’s home-grown organic and biodynamic wines, including whites, red, and fizz, as well as fruit wines and delicious liqueurs. On the day you are welcome to walk the vineyard and woodland nature trail, see the winery, self-build house and photo display.

Your experience will typically last an hour, there is no set time. This experience is for you and a friend to enjoy, there will be other people there on the day. You are welcome to bring family and friends, but they will need to pay on the day.
