Enjoy breathtaking views of Brighton's iconic seafront from the water—it's a must-do! Your adventure starts with a safety briefing before a short two-minute walk to the beach. You'll learn to kneel and stand on your board, mastering these skills with ease. Spend about two hours paddling east toward the stunning chalk cliffs, exploring the quieter coastal areas of Rottingdean and Ovingdean. As you head back to the marina, you'll have polished techniques like step-back turns, making your return a breeze. Group sessions accommodate four to eight paddlers, and all SUP gear is provided. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, you’ll love paddleboarding along Brighton's beautiful shoreline with a qualified instructor!

  • Paddle East towards Ovingdean and Rottingdean under the chalk cliffs before heading back to Brighton Marina
  • All sessions are led by qualified instructors
  • Sessions last approximately 2 hours
  • You will form part of a small group of between 4-8 participants for this experience.

  • Suitable for both beginners and regular paddlers
  • Minimum age 18
  • Maximum weight 16 stone (100kg)
  • There are no requirements for this experience but being able to swim 50m and having a reasonable level of fitness is preferable

  • Please Note: If the sea conditions on the day are too rough, you will use the sheltered water part of Brighton Marina.
  • Suitable clothing for the time of year should be worn
  • A change of clothing and appropriate footwear is also required
  • If spectators want to watch, they can do so from afar by walking along the under-cliff walk or sitting on the beach
