The Duke of Marlborough Hotel and Restaurant were named after the first Duke of Marlborough and resident of the estate, John Churchill. Both the Duke of Marlborough estate and Blenheim Palace were created for John Churchill as rewards for his services to both crown and country. Now the estate has been converted into a beautiful hotel and restaurant.
