Experience driving a real Tank around an Off-road course using only night vision. This unique and amazing experience is brand new for 2012! You and the group will get to drive 2 ex-military Tanks, The Hagglund and 432 under the guidance of an ex-serving military Instructor. The 432 will be fully battened down meaning you are solely relying on the night vision lens and your Instructor to guide you around the course. The Hagglund will be using its night time convoy lights. It starts at 6pm. Hot food and refreshments are included in the price.

We recommend that you bring clothing with you that you are happy to get dirty and wet. Boots or stout footwear are a must. We can provide suitable combat overalls - but we cannot be responsible for any damage to your own clothing. Where the activity demands it, we will insist that you wear a safety helmet and if necessary goggles and gloves. For health and safety reasons taking photos around the course is not permitted. An on site-photographer will be taking pictures throughout the day which will be on sale.
The course runs during the Winter months from 6pm in the evening on selected days
Spectators are welcome, a £20.00 charge covers food throughout the day and rides on the vehicles. These need to be booked at least 4 days from the event, but can be paid for on the day. (there is only a small waiting area for spectators and facilities are very much 'military standard' so may not be suitable for children or elderly spectators)
Bad weather leading up to or during the event often causes parts of the course to be unusable and can sometimes cause vehicles to breakdown. Tankmania will do their best to find an alternative activity to do but no refunds will be offered in this situation.
