You’ll learn all about the chocolate making process, before having the chance to create your own tasty treats using the finest organic chocolate. Learn how to make truffles from raw ingredients, create a unique chocolate bar or giant chocolate button and try out the art of cutting dipping and decorating praline - a deliciously decadent experience!
Upon arrival you will be greeted by your Chocolatier, who will show you to the quirky vintage-style kitchen (London location only) or to the hotel room (Manchester and Brighton locations) where the workshop will take place. The Chocolate Making Workshop includes the following activities;
Introduction to chocolate making
The Chocolatier will explain the history and process of chocolate making, whilst you sample either cocoa nibs or crushed cocoa beans and exotic flavoured chocolates.
Making truffles
Working in pairs, you’ll learn how to make delicious truffles from raw ingredients, and you’ll soon be laughing as you attempt to pipe your chocolate mixture into truffles.
Create your very own chocolate bar or giant chocolate button!
The ultimate treat for chocolate fans – create your very own personalised chocolate bar or giant chocolate button! You’ll be given a great selection of ingredients, such as marshmallow, coconut, cocoa powder and white chocolate flakes and get to decorate your treats with edible stars and hearts; so whatever your taste, you’ll be able to create your fantasy chocolate complete with personalised wrapper.
Cutting, dipping and decorating
You’ll learn the art of cutting, dipping and decorating using a slab of praline, bowls of melted chocolate and plenty of decorations – the perfect ingredients for a sumptuous chocolate treat.
Create ‘the most innovative chocolate in the world’
A fun, creative challenge, you will team up with your chocolate making partner in an attempt to make ‘the most innovative chocolate in the world’. A great way to end your experience, you’ll even get to take your creations home with you in ribbon-tied bags, along with the recipes, so there is plenty to share with family and friends when you get home!
