A fantastic day of off road driving in a modern Land Rover Defender! Your instructor will help you get to grips with the basics then you will spend the rest of the day playing on the fun, yet challenging off road course at either the Essex Regiment Way or Headley Park in Hampshire. The course is a variation of muddy and rough terrain, steep hill climbs and descents as well as a deep water run. Your instructor will tailor the day to suit the skill set and learning ability of each driver to make sure you get the most out of yourself and the vehicle. The vehicles have gone through some extreme preparation with suspension and left kits which are unique to this venue. As far as we know you cannot drive vehicles with this set up anywhere else in the UK! This voucher can be shared between 2 people, with the drive time being split.
Arrive at 9:30am for welcome and safety briefing.
Sighting laps of the course driven by instructor.
Drive control course (terrain familiarisation and navigational skills) - you may be taken out of your comfort zone at this stage but don't worry, its fun and safe!
An army-style lunch will be served at 12:30.
Driving commences after lunch with drivers taking on a more challenging course.
Each person at some stage will also get a high speed passenger ride through the lake.
Driving stops at 16:00 for a de-brief.
Refreshments and snacks will be available throughout the day. Other 4x4 vehicles may also be available to drive.

Participants must hold a valid full UK drivers license. You must be fit and able bodied to take part in this experience. Water-proof/ outdoor clothing is advised. The course can get very muddy so a change of clothes for your journey home is also recommended. If you have any dietary requirements you will need to inform us at the time of booking your date. Due to the nature of the event the vehicles need regular maintenance so a substitute off road vehicle may need to be used if a vehicle becomes unavailable.
This event runs on selected dates all year round.
If you are lucky it will be wet and muddy! Don't worry about the weather on this one but wrap up warm if its cold.
