Esseborne Manor is a family run Victorian country house hotel located close to Highclere Castle, home of the popular television series Downton Abbey. Set amidst the splendour of the North Wessex Down, close to the beautiful Bourne Valley, in an area of outstanding natural beauty, this is the perfect getaway location for those looking to relax and unwind. The house, which for over 100 years has been a country retreat, still retains the feel of a private home where the Hamilton family provide a warm and caring welcome with comfortable lounges, and bedrooms where you are pampered with fluffy towels, local filtered well water and home-made scrummy biscuits. All bedrooms overlook the lush green gardens and are decorated individually to provide a luxury environment with a unique feel and atmosphere.

Dining at Esseborne is a real treat with pre-dinner drinks and canapés in the bar or on the patio. The award winning Courtyard Restaurant overlooks the gardens and the sprawling farmland beyond. All dishes are freshly prepared by Head Chef Dennis and his team with herbs from their own herb garden and extensive use of local Hampshire and Berkshire produce. This break is a one night stay for two people to enjoy and includes a seven course taster dinner and breakfast, plus tea, scones and a glass of Prosecco on arrival. Please note, your tea and scones will be served between 3pm - 5:30pm.
