Why buy from us?
The Rookie Training program has been designed for students who want to enter the world of drift competition. Here, you will learn the drift techniques to start you on the road to success. The Prodrift Academy’s Level 1 Ignition course is the first step on the Road to Success to the exciting and high-octane world of drifting. Starting with the most important basic drift techniques, Level 1 Ignition has been designed to provide students with the essential techniques required to become a drifter.

  • Arrival and sign on
  • Drivers safety briefing
  • Sessions learning the skills required to pass level one

*Depending on ability and performance you may even progress to further levels that would suit the skills level.

Course Summary:

  • Handbrake initiation
  • Countersteer
  • Throttle balance
  • Full corner drift course duration

Group sessions are a half day experience so please allow up to 4 hours at the venue from arrival-departure. The in-car time will be approx 1 hour. Driving time remains the same although total time at the venue is reduced to approx 1 and a half hours.

You can order a 10-month gift voucher or book directly onto a date. Please note, there is a £50 upgrade fee to take this experience at Lochgelly (Drift Land). You can upgrade the validity to 14 months when you order.

Minimum age of 12 years old and 4'6" high at Birmingham Wheels Raceway, younger drivers may be accepted on a case by case basis dependant on experience.
Minimum age at Brands Hatch is 18 years old with full driving licence and 1 years driving experience.
Small group sizes, maximum 3 per instructor and car.
1-2-1 sessions are 1 pupil per car and instructor.
Please note helmets are provided.
However, due to health and hygiene Balaclavas must be worn.
Customers are more than welcome to bring their own balaclava or helmet.
Balaclavas are included for training students.

Selected dates throughout the year at Brands Hatch and Birmingham Wheels Raceway for group sessions. 1-2-1 format training is available at Birmingham venue, 7 days a week, 9 am to 10 pm subject to availability.

Collision damage waiver for £10 can be purchased on the day. This is optional, but drivers will be liable for the first £500 of any damage to the cars if the waiver is not taken. Customers are more than welcome to bring their own balaclava or helmet. Balaclavas are included for training clients. 360 degrees VR camera which offers virtual reality footage at the cost of £29.99.

In severe weather the experience may get delayed or postponed.
