This most unique of vintage flying experiences combines a flying lesson in an iconic Tiger Moth biplane with an aerial sightseeing tour over the Cotswolds! Taking off from Cotswold Airport near Kemble, this 60 minute biplane tour will let you witness this recognised Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty as you never have before, from many thousands of feet up in the air. The Cotswold Tour sets off from the grass airstrip towards the market town of Cirencester, and over the A429 Fosse Way, an ancient Roman road that runs between Lincoln in the East to Ilchester in Somerset in the West. The Fosse Way has many of the Cotswolds’ instantly recognisable towns and villages, from the “Venice of the Cotswolds” in Bourton on the Water, the hilly Stow on the Wold, along the River Evenlode to Moreton in Marsh. Across the border with Worcestershire, you’ll find Broadway with its historic Tower overlooking the Vale of Evesham and the edge of the River Severn. All this, plus - if you feel up to it - you can partake in a spot of light aerobatics in the biplane to finish this most unique of tours across the Cotswolds in style!

Cotswold Tour

  • Climb out past Cirencester. Your route takes you along the ancient Fosse Way to Stow-on-the-Wold, head up to Moreton-in-Marsh and to Broadway in Worcestershire
  • The return leg gives you time to practice flying the Tiger or sit back and enjoy views of the Cotswolds


Minimum Age: 14 years

  • Flights take place from April to October on selected weekend dates (generally one weekend date per month)
  • All flights are weather dependent but don't worry if your flight is cancelled you can rebook for a convenient time

  • Maximum weight limit is 18 stone
  • Height restrictions: minimum 4ft 11ins, maximum 6ft 7ins
  • You need to be agile enough to climb in and out of the aircraft
