The Radical SR3 RS is a racing vehicle manufactured in Britain, first debuting in 1999. The SR3 is the second variant of the vehicle, and is built on a carbon-steel space frame chassis and also utilises a 1.5 motorcycle engine for power.
It’s capable of reaching a max speed on track of 151mph and also manages to boast an absolutely staggering 300bhp from that tiny frame. The weight of the vehicle is a key component in enabling it to reach such high speeds, currently ticking the scales at just 570kgs.
This much power from that little weight showcases why this is not only an outrageously fun car to drive, but why it’s so entertaining from a passengers perspective as well. It manages to reach 0-60mph in just 3.1 seconds making it one of the fastest on track cars that we have available here at TrackDays.
It is undoubtedly one of the most exhilarating driving experiences we have available, and it showcases some true talent in British automotive engineering.
