Built between 1973 and 1974 the Porsche 911 Carrera RS is considered by many as the greatest classic 911 of all time. The RS stands for Rennsport in German and Race Sport in English. The 911 Carrera RS had a larger engine than the standard 911, it also had stiffened suspension, larger brakes, wider rear wheels and rear fenders and a ducks tail spoiler. It was also considerably lighter than the 911 by around 100kg. This variation of the 911 is one of the most highly sought after vehicles in the sports car world - we're hoping here at Trackdays that we'll be able to bring one back to our circuits for our customers in the near future. So if you want to take a trip back in time with the RS, then this is the place to stay updated. If you're keen on driving another 911, then why not check out wide selection of Porsche experiences.
