Important Information

You must be over 16 years old, at least 5' tall and weigh no more than 16 and a half stone to take part. Please note this experience is not suitable for those with a serious back or heart complaint or for pregnant women. Please dress warmly, with non-slip shoes (e.g. trainers or deck shoes), waterproofs and safety equipment will be provided. Bear in mind that there is a high wind-chill factor aboard the boat! Bring a change of clothes just in case

The Thunderbolt is a unique high performance catamaran built for surf rescue. This exceptional craft is one of the fastest cornering boats in the UK and enables anyone to quickly take to the wheel and throw it around racing through the surf. It accelerates and changes direction just as its name suggests!

Safety briefing and intro to Boats Get changed into Powerboat Race Gear A full hour of high adrenaline action including instruction on cornering and racing technique, wave jumping and high speed take offs High speed offshore circuit where you will have the opportunity to race against the clock Debrief and photograph to remember the day

When can i go?

The Experience runs from April through to October on selected dates
How long will i be at the venue?

Allow 2 hours at the venue.
What if the weather is bad?

This Experience is dependant on suitable weather conditions. It is essential that you call for a weather check between 5pm and 7pm the day before your experience is due to take place (number will be supplied)
