Powerboats have featured in many Bond Films and you can also Experience the thrill and adrenaline rush with 2 powerboat driving missions on Southampton water with Trackdays.co.uk.

Learn how to drive 2 different powerboats to their limits on a specially designed off-shore racing circuit with fully qualified drivers on hand to teach you. The Honda powerboat is a high powered and extremely responsive racing boat and the Sunseeker is a luxury 37ft beast with two highly powered engines. The other boat owners won't know whether to hate you or admire you.

Itinerary:
Safety briefing and intro to the powerboats. Change into powerboat gear. Cruise on the water to the racing circuit location. Mission 1 - Learn to drive the Honda 2-stroke powerboat then 'drive it like you stole it' on the circuit. Break at the Marina Bar, Restaurant or Café. Mission 2 - Learn to drive the 37ft Sunseeker powerboat and be the envy of the water! Cruise back to the marina and collect your complimentary photos.

When can i go?

Open for booking from April through to October on selected dates.
How long will i be at the venue?

You will spend a minimum for 2 hours in total on the water; you are at the centre for up to 4 hours (depending on experience times). You may also have the sunseeker experience in the morning and then the racing powerboat in the afternoon.
What if the weather is bad?

Severe weather may make cause the experience to delayed or postponed.

Important Information:

This Experience is suitabe for anyone from 12 - 70 (under 16 must be accompanied by parent or guardian). Please note this experience is not suitable for those with a serious back or heart complaint or for pregnant women. Please dress warmly, with non-slip shoes (e.g. trainers or deck shoes), waterproofs and safety equipment will be provided. Bear in mind that there is a high wind-chill factor aboard the boat! Bring a change of clothes just in case.
