There are a number of white water rafting destinations dotted around the UK. They vary from man-made courses to natural courses situated in the mountains. We host experiences at the Lee Valley Park White Water Rafting centre that was designed and constructed to host the canoe slalom events for the London 2012 Olympic Games. It is one of the best man-made centres in the UK and is the perfect destination for white water rafting near London. If that seems to tame why not take to the Welsh mountains for a more intense experience. Surrounded by natural beauty, cliff drops and thousands of tonnes of water you head in your raft and try and tackle mother nature!
Who Can Go Do a White Water Rafting Experience?
Most white water rafting experiences have a minimum age restriction of 14 years of age. The experiences also require participants to have some degree of physical fitness as some courses require a multitude of movements and physical exertion. There will usually be a maximum weight limit in place but this will differ across various packages. All safety equipment is supplied by the centres and a fully qualified instructor is always on the raft with all groups.
