Pembrey Track Day Noise Limit

Car track days and bike track days at Pembrey operate under a noise restriction. Before each track day, a static noise test is performed by measuring the noise level at 3/4 max revs approx 0.5 metres from the exhaust. The noise limit for this test is 102bB(A). Vehicles over this limit will not be allowed out on track unless they have the noise output reduced.

Pembrey Circuit Track Days Information

One of only two racing circuits in South Wales, Pembrey Race Circuit is an extremely popular track day venue. Pembrey Race Track is another of those hidden gem circuits, sometimes overlooked due to its location. We feel that does it a disservice, as it represents great racing of nearly 1½ miles of continually improving track.

In 2001, vast improvements were made to the whole venue, with the long-awaited track extension, a new pit complex and spectator bridge, meaning the circuit could see international racing in the near future. A brand new section of track was installed in 2017, which now allows for more than one layout to be used for any given event.

One of the features of the new circuit layout is a heavy braking section, that will be followed by high-speed right-hand corners, testing not only the ability of the vehicles on track but also the ability of racers and riders. The current Pembrey circuit layout is governed by two vital corners: Brooklands Hairpin and Honda Curve. Each leads on to a critically fast part of the circuit, so carrying speed is vital.

The inner part of the circuit is seemingly a never-ending sequence of bends, while the incredibly tight Hatchers Hairpin is at the end of the longest straight, making it very easy to overshoot under braking. Above you can see all of the current Pembrey track days for both car and motorcycle, plus a range of great driving experiences that are available to book here too.
