Wet Grip area at Rockingham open on track days
We are opening up the wet grip area of Rockingham Racing Circuit free for some of our Car Track Day events. Anyone attending the track day will have free access to the wet grip facility described by Will Thomas, Events Coodinator as “a unique controlled environment combining a kick plate, water walls and a polished surface, so smooth it’s like ice. This makes it the perfect place to drift and hone your driving skills without the restrictions of cars and kerbs”.
This will be the first time that Rockingham has opened the wet grip area for a public track day event and Dan Jones, Operations Manager for Trackdays.co.uk said “this additional activity will add a new dimension to the track days for our customers and as well as being great fun could prove to be an invaluable asset as drivers can learn how to recover control of their Car in a skidding/ drifting scenario”.
