Trackdays.co.uk brings you the opportunity to fly a 'Top Gun' sortie with a fighter pilot in a military training aircraft. Experience close formation, and learn to fly aerobatics, military manoeuvres and tail chasing - YOURSELF!
 
This adrenaline fuelled flying experience is not for the faint hearted - although flights are tailored to the individual - the trip is as wild or mild as you choose!

Itinerary:
    • Ground briefing, including all safety, parachute procedures and how to fly aerobatics and air combat
    • Cockpit briefing on controls and safety
    • Flight - See Flight Profile below
    • Exit aircraft for 'pair' debrief with instructor pilot
    • Presentation of certificates and CD ROM

    FLIGHT PROFILE

    • You sit next to your instructor in in the cockpit
    • Formation take-off (2 aircraft)
    • Formation close manoeuvring in the climb
    • Demo & practice of effects of controls and aerobatics manoeuvres
    • Student 'hands on stick' time - opportunity to fly basic aerobatics

  • When can i go?

    Flights take place most Fridays, March - October inclusive.

  • How long will i be at the venue?

    You can expect to be at the venue for 3 - 4 hours. Flights are in the Extra300 aircraft above and are 40 minutes long (30 minutes airborne)

  • What if the weather is bad?

    This Experience is dependant on suitable weather conditions. It is essential you call the weather line provided in your conformation before you set out

Further Details

No. of people can book: You will be in a group of 2 - 4 people and will be put in to a Top Gun 'pair' after your briefing. A 20% discount is offered if two people book as a pair. Up to 2 of your guests can join the briefing, only take-off and landing are visible to spectators
Important Information: We can fly anyone aged 12 and over, as long as fulfil the medical, height and weight criteria. If you are over 55 we will require a letter from your GP confirming your suitability to fly. Weight limit is 20 stone, minimum height is 5'0" and maximum is 6'5"
