
WHEN CAN YOU GO?
The experience runs, all year round at selected UK centres.
HOW LONG WILL YOU BE AT THE VENUE?
You should expect to be at the venue for two days for level one, and you will then liaise with your instructors for scheduling of levels 2-8.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION YOU NEED TO KNOW
Minimum age limit for this experience is 16 (16 and 17 with parental/guardian consent). If you are 40 or over we will require a British Parachute Association Declaration of Fitness form to be signed and stamped by your GP before you can take part. If you are over 50, you will not normally be accepted for this course. Maximum weight limit is 15 stones maximum, and your weight must be in proportion to your height. Weight limits do vary between centres, so please call us for advice.
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN GO?
Courses are run with a maximum of 3 students. AFF instructors are limited, so only one student will usually jump at one time. Spectators are welcome on the day of the jump
WHAT IF THE WEATHER IS BAD?
The training will take place regardless of the weather, however, the jump itself is extremely weather dependent. You will be advised of procedures specific to your chosen centre for weather checks and refresher training.

HOW MUCH?

The Accelerated Freefall (AFF) course is a progressive fast track skydiver training programme, which takes you from complete beginner to Category 8 qualified skydiver in 8 jumps. After successful completion of Level 1 you can then carry on with the rest of the course which consists of another seven levels (seven jumps).
By Level 4 you are jumping with one instructor. Level 8 is your first solo exit from the aircraft. This course is fairly intensive and you will need to be committed and determined. Levels 1 to 7 are from 12 000 feet and Level 8 is from 5,000 feet. You can choose to purchase the entire AFF Course, or Level 1 only.
ITINERARY
• On the first day you will receive training on equipment, aircraft exit, parachute control and landing and all emergency procedures.
• On the second day you will jump from around 12,000 feet
• You are assisted by two AFF instructors who stabilize you and train you with in-air signals.
• You will demonstrate three “practice rip-cord pulls” and altitude awareness
• You will deploy your own parachute
• You will perform your safety checks
• You will fly your parachute to the landing area
• Once completed you can arrange to complete Level 2-8
