WHEN CAN YOU DRIVE?

The Experience runs at various times throughout the day on selected Saturdays and Weekdays throughout the year.

  HOW LONG WILL YOU BE AT THE VENUE?

The course lasts approximately 4-5 hours

  IMPORTANT INFORMATION YOU NEED TO KNOW

You must hold a full driving license and be legal to drive on the UK roads . The restrictions for all the vehicles and equipment are height between 4'11” – 6’6” and weight below 18 stone. Please check before you book that you meet the requirements.

  HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN GO?

You can book for up to 12 people to run as a group in the same time slot (subject to availability). Spectators are welcome for no extra charge.

Driving tuition is on a one-to-one basis but you will be in a group of other people booked onto the same experience

The Experience is held at Mallory Park, Leicestershire

Setting fast lap times in a single-seater racing car demands a smooth, effortless driving style. Something everyone learns from their experienced instructor. Under their guidance participants soon discover the safest racing lines and best driving techniques. Initially drivers experience the circuit in a 'hot hatch' before advancing to the Vauxhall Lotus 2.0 litre single-seater. Faster and with more grip, this car responds to a driver's every demand. Finally, there's the chance to drive another legendary car - a Caterham Super 7. If only making it into the real world of single-seater racing was as much pure, unadulterated fun.

ITINERARY

• Welcome, introduction & briefing on circuit driving techniques
• Familiarization laps and 4 driving laps in a BMW D3 with a professional race driver/instructor
• 6 laps driving a Vauxhall Lotus 2.0 litre single-seater racing car
• 4 laps driving a Caterham Super 7
• Autotest
• Individual driving assessment and motor racing certificate
